Parent/carer skills building 6 week programme

Price: £100

Service Overview

Course Fee

£100

This course is for FAMILIES/PARENTS/CARERS only - not for professionals.

We help people to understand the additional struggles that come from raising neurodivergent children and discuss strategies on how you might support them without burning yourself out. Building a tool kit that works for you is important to creating connection with your child.

The 6 weeks cover topics such as (but are not limited to) What ADHD, Autism etc actually are - and are not.

Topics include:

• De-escalation
• Behaviour Education
• Sleep
• Medication
• Liaising with school and other professionals

We also have space for questions each week to support you on your journey in learning, and understanding your child(ren).

Feedback from when we've run this before suggests that people benefit not just from the understanding, skills and strategies, but also the sense of community that comes from meeting other families in a similar position.

Spending 6 weeks on this gives us a long time to work through things in detail, and see progress from week to week. Our materials and resources are evidence-based and delivered by people that KNOW because we have been there!

The 6 weeks is delivered by Jannine Perryman and Vicky Flood.

General Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need a formal diagnosis to access your services?

A: No formal diagnosis is needed. Our services, including coaching, courses, and screeners, are open to those who self-identify or suspect they may be neurodivergent. we currently don’t havr the facility to diagnose, however if you come to use with enquires about your neuro profile then we will treat this as a diagnosis as such for the prupose of services.

Q: Can I access coaching for more than one child/family member?

A: Yes. Each individual should be booked under their own name and profile to ensure the correct session links, information, and communications are sent. This also allows us to maintain separate confidential records and session notes for each family member. Depending on the individual needs and circumstances, different coaches may be assigned to each person based on availability and relevant experience. In some cases, and where appropriate, the same coach may work with multiple family members—but this would only be arranged following further discussion to ensure it’s in the best interest of everyone involved.

Q: Can you offer concessions or flexible payments?

A: Yes, we do offer concessionary rates where possible. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to discuss options.

Q: What is included in the ADHD screener or neurodiversity report?

A: The screener explores traits commonly associated with ADHD, Autism, and related neurodivergent profiles. Following completion, you’ll receive a one-to-one session with a specialist coach to discuss the findings in depth. Together, these insights are used to create a tailored report that outlines your strengths, challenges, and personalised recommendations for support. Please note, this is not a diagnostic assessment. However, it is a valuable tool for those wishing to better understand their neurodivergent profile and can also be shared with professionals, schools, or colleges to help support your needs in educational or workplace settings.
